Christine Black’s garden in Pemberton NJ is a decades long work-in-progress first started by her late husband John Black in 2008. The garden features dragonfly ponds, mature perennial gardens, and a brand new septic field garden installation. Christine will share the challenges and successes of gardening in sandy Pine Barren’s soil, her philosophy on the importance of finding magic in the garden, and her tips and tricks for maintaining a nearly ½ acre property with minimal effort.
