Anima Yell! originated as a Japanese four-panel manga series by Tsukasa Unohana, which was later adapted into a 12-episode anime television series by Doga Kobo and aired in 2018. The series follows Kohane Hatoya, a high school girl who develops a deep fascination with cheerleading and decides to establish a cheerleading club at her school, bringing together a small group of students to support their peers and sports teams. The project was designed as a lighthearted 'slice-of-life' comedy, emphasizing themes of perseverance, friendship, and the quiet satisfaction of encouraging others behind the scenes.
