Based on the erotic game by UnderMoon.
Masaya is a university student, who works as a home tutor part-time. One day, he receives a parcel. That is a notebook. He frowns when he reads a letter, which is also in the parcel. It says, "If you write a girl's name in the notebook, you'll be able to control her as you like." He thinks it is ridiculous at first, but he decides to give it a try. The name he writes is Yumi, his student.... As a result, it comes true, and he shags with her. "This notebook is proved to be real. I can now have fun with it...."

Where it came from
Ayatsuri Haramase DreamNote was released in 2009 as an original video animation produced by the studio Schoolzone. Emerging during a period of niche independent adult animation production in Japan, the work was designed to explore specific thematic tropes prevalent in the genre at the time. It is categorized as a specialized title within the broader landscape of late-2000s self-distributed or limited-run animated content.
The production relies on conventional character design tropes common to the studio's output, prioritizing accessibility within its intended market demographic. As an independent release, it did not receive mainstream critical reception or significant commercial distribution, instead circulating primarily through specialty hobby shops and enthusiast-focused online channels that catered to collectors of experimental or short-form adult animation.
