Beyond Time's Gaze 2

Beyond Time's Gaze 2 was released by Yien Animation as an original net animation, serving as a direct follow-up to their initial experimental project. Produced during a period when the studio sought to explore shorter, digital-first storytelling formats, the piece was designed to bridge the gap between abstract visual art and traditional narrative structures. The creative team focused on atmospheric depth, utilizing a muted color palette to establish the distinct melancholic tone that defines the series.

The production relied on a small core team of animators who prioritized fluid frame-by-frame sequences over standard cost-cutting digital techniques common at the time. Upon its release, it gained a reputation among animation enthusiasts for its technical precision and willingness to forgo conventional dialogue in favor of evocative sound design. While it remained a niche work, critics highlighted the director's specific vision for pacing, which helped cement Yien Animation's status as a studio dedicated to aesthetic experimentation.
