Datte Kyou made Koiwazurai

Datte Kyou made Koiwazurai is a notable single released under the Victor Entertainment label, serving as a prominent example of the idol pop music scene in Japan. It was produced as part of the broader promotional efforts for the multimedia franchise Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, specifically intended to capture the energetic and romantic atmosphere central to the series' narrative. The production reflects the high-polish aesthetic typical of Victor Entertainment's anime song catalog during the late 2010s.

The creative direction for this release was tightly integrated with the visual identity of the anime adaptation. The composition was crafted to mirror the internal monologues and emotional stakes of the lead characters, utilizing upbeat arrangements to provide a stark contrast to the series' comedic high-pressure scenarios. Upon its release, the single was well-received by fans of the franchise, serving as a key pillar in the marketing of the anime's opening sequences and reinforcing the cultural footprint of the Kaguya-sama brand.
