Genki-kun no Christmas @ Tokyo-eki

Genki-kun no Christmas @ Tokyo-eki, or Genki's Christmas at Tokyo Station, is a short original net animation released in 2004. It was created as a promotional piece to highlight the modernization and renovation efforts taking place at Tokyo Station during the early 2000s, utilizing the character Genki-kun, a mascot designed to embody the spirit of the station's ongoing development and the convenience of its evolving transit network.

The animation features a simple, lighthearted narrative intended to endear the station to commuters and tourists alike during the holiday season. The design reflects the bright, clean aesthetic common in early 2000s Japanese corporate mascot marketing, emphasizing warmth and accessibility. While it served primarily as a localized branding tool rather than a major studio production, it remains a documented relic of the era's promotional strategies involving regional public transport landmarks.
