Go! Saitama

Go! Saitama is a promotional original net animation produced by Village Studio to serve as a tourism campaign for Saitama Prefecture. Released in 2017, the project was designed to highlight the region's cultural landmarks and scenic appeal to both domestic and international audiences, leveraging the growing popularity of anime as a tool for regional revitalization. The narrative approach focuses on showcasing the prefecture's diverse environments, ranging from its urban centers to its natural landscapes.

The production sought to blend traditional tourism marketing with the aesthetic sensibilities of modern Japanese animation. By utilizing a bright and energetic visual style, the creators aimed to present Saitama as a dynamic destination rather than merely a transit point near Tokyo. While it functioned primarily as a public relations piece, it was well-received within the anime community for its high production quality and its earnest effort to promote lesser-known municipal sites.
