Where it came from
JOBRAVER: Animation is an ONA (Original Net Animation) series released in 2022 by Infinity Vision. The project serves as a narrative expansion for the Tomica Hyper Rescue Jobraver franchise, which integrates stylized, robotic rescue vehicles into a collaborative world-building effort. This animation was developed to leverage high-energy, digital-first storytelling to appeal to younger audiences while emphasizing the technical specifications of the transforming mecha characters.
The visual direction and character modeling were crafted to align with the existing toy line aesthetic, prioritizing clean lines and vibrant palettes to maintain brand consistency. Infinity Vision utilized modern digital rendering techniques to simulate the mechanical articulation of the Jobraver units, aiming for a balance between traditional action-oriented pacing and the educational undertones found in rescue-themed media. Upon its release, the series was received primarily as a promotional vehicle, gaining recognition within the niche market of toy-adjacent web media.
