A hungry young traveler arrives a Chinese town and goes to the food strip street to appease his hunger. The street is full of food stalls, but two of them catch his eye because the cooks are two hot sexy-dressed girls: a brunette Chinese and a blonde Westerner. Both of them eagerly try to get the guy to eat their food (Chine and Western) and convince him that their respective cookery is the best. The guy unwillingly finds himself in the middle of a dispute turned Kung-Fu fight between the two girls, but he just wants to eat something, anything.

Where it came from
Kung Fu Liao Li Niang, or 'Kung Fu Cooking Girl,' was released by the Beijing-based Wolf Smoke Studio as a showcase of independent Chinese animation. The project emerged during a period of burgeoning interest in combining traditional Chinese cultural motifs, specifically culinary arts and martial arts, with the high-energy, fluid visual style characteristic of contemporary global anime.
The production is notable for its vibrant character animation and deliberate rhythmic pacing, intended to bridge the gap between slapstick comedy and choreographed action sequences. Wolf Smoke Studio, founded by animator Rocket, designed the work to demonstrate the technical potential of smaller studios in producing short-form web content that maintains a polished, feature-quality aesthetic.
