Lostorage conflated WIXOSS: missing link

Lostorage conflated WIXOSS: missing link was released in 2017 as an original video animation serving as a narrative bridge between the Lostorage Incited WIXOSS and Lostorage conflated WIXOSS television series. Produced by studio J.C.Staff, the episode was created to clarify character motivations and resolve lingering plot threads involving the various selectors and their LRIGs. Its production followed the established dark fantasy aesthetic of the broader WIXOSS franchise, maintaining the psychological tension and high-stakes card game dynamics that defined the earlier installments.

The animation design remains consistent with the previous Lostorage series, focusing on the intricate visual depictions of the battles and the internal struggles of the protagonists. Directed to provide fans with necessary context for the final season, the OVA was generally received as a functional and necessary installment for those following the complex, multi-layered storylines of the series. By deepening the character lore, the project aimed to solidify the emotional stakes for the conclusion of the WIXOSS saga.
