MAZE☆Bakunetsu Jikuu: Sakusha Shinken! Ai to Shi wo Mitsumete... Yukemuri Onsen Kikou Kangofu wa Mita

Released in 1998 for the Sega Saturn, this title is part of the MAZE: Bakunetsu Jikuu franchise, which originated from a light novel series written by Satoru Akahori. The game serves as a comical side-story within the series, leaning heavily into the established harem and adventure tropes that defined the source material. It was developed during a period when anime-based visual novel and adventure games were proliferating on the Saturn platform, specifically targeting fans of the show's chaotic blend of fantasy action and slapstick humor.

The design of the game adheres to the aesthetic standards of 1990s Japanese animation, focusing on vibrant, dialogue-heavy sequences and character-driven interactions. Created by the production teams at Victor Entertainment, the title was intended to provide a lighthearted interactive experience for the established fanbase. Reception was largely confined to niche import circles, where it is remembered as a product of its time—an experimental, character-focused expansion of an existing media property rather than a standalone technical achievement.
