Momoya × Peeping Life: Go en Desu yo!

Released in 2013, this collaborative ONA served as a promotional campaign for Momoya, a prominent Japanese manufacturer of condiments and preserved foods. The project combined the brand's traditional marketing efforts with the distinct aesthetic of the Peeping Life series, an improvisational animation project created by director Ryosuke Forest. By utilizing the series' signature loose, lo-fi animation style and unscripted-feeling dialogue, the campaign sought to present Momoya's products in a humorous, relatable context that stood out from conventional television advertisements.

The production was handled by CoMix Wave Films, known for its high-quality animation work, providing a playful contrast to the intentionally rudimentary visuals characteristic of Peeping Life. The design philosophy centered on 'everyday absurdity,' featuring mundane conversations punctuated by the sudden appearance of Momoya ingredients. While primarily serving as commercial content, the shorts were well-received by fans of the original web series for maintaining its irreverent tone while effectively integrating brand messaging into the short-form narrative structure.
