Mr Love: Queen's Choice, known in Japan as Koi to Producer: EVOL×LOVE, was produced by Studio MAPPA and premiered in 2020. It serves as an animated adaptation of the popular Chinese otome mobile game developed by Elex Technology. The series functions as a romantic fantasy set in a world where individuals with unique psychic abilities, known as Evolvers, coexist with humans, focusing on a protagonist who inherits her father's media production company and navigates complex relationships with four influential men.

The character designs were adapted for television by Jinshichi Yamaguchi, who aimed to preserve the distinct, polished aesthetic of the original mobile game's illustrations. By translating the source material's visual language into an anime format, the production team sought to capture the high-stakes corporate and supernatural drama that defined the game's narrative. Upon its release, the series received attention primarily from existing fans of the franchise, though it remains noted for its attempt to condense a massive, branching interactive narrative into a linear television format.
