O-parts: Oman

O-Parts: Oman, known in Japan as O-Parts Hunter, was created by manga artist Seishi Kishimoto and serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump starting in 2001. The series was heavily influenced by the high-adventure, treasure-hunting genre, drawing frequent comparisons to the works of Kishimoto's twin brother, Masashi Kishimoto, due to shared stylistic sensibilities in character design and kinetic action sequences.

The narrative follows the protagonist Jio Freed, a boy seeking to conquer the world with the help of O-Parts—relics of a vanished civilization that grant superhuman abilities to those who can wield them. While the series was designed to appeal to a young shonen demographic, it was noted by critics for its steady world-building and the gradual maturation of its tactical combat system, eventually reaching a conclusion that cemented its status as a foundational series for the publisher during the early 2000s.
