Oomuro-ke: dear friends

Oomuro-ke: dear friends is the first part of a two-film theatrical adaptation of the manga series written and illustrated by Namori. Expanding upon the lives of Sakurako Oomuro and her sisters from the Yuru Yuri universe, the film was produced by Studio Passione and released in 2024. The project sought to capture the series' signature lighthearted, slice-of-life charm, focusing on the comedic daily interactions within the Oomuro household.

Directed by Hiroyuki Hashimoto, who also helmed previous Yuru Yuri installments, the adaptation maintains the original aesthetic while transitioning the characters into a cinematic format. The production was well-received by the established fanbase, appreciated for its faithful character designs and its ability to balance nostalgic elements with the self-contained narrative of the Oomuro sisters' domestic adventures.
