Please! Marry Me!!

Please! Marry Me!! is a shōjo manga series created by mangaka Tomu Ohmi, originally serialized in the early 2000s. The work emerged during a period when the supernatural romance genre was gaining significant traction in Japanese magazines, blending traditional domestic tropes with fantastical elements. Ohmi, known for her evocative and character-focused art style, designed the series to explore the tension between ordinary romantic aspirations and extraordinary, otherworldly circumstances.

The narrative follows a protagonist navigating complex personal relationships, a hallmark of Ohmi's broader bibliography which often centers on the intersection of human emotion and the occult. Upon its release, the manga was received as a quintessential example of its genre, noted for its polished character designs and the steady, emotive pacing characteristic of early 2000s shōjo titles. It remains a recognizable entry in the vast landscape of romance-focused serializations from that era.
