Please Save My Earth Movie: From Alice to Rin-kun

Released in 1994, this film serves as an original video animation companion to the popular Please Save My Earth manga series by Saki Hiwatari. Produced by Production I.G, the project was designed to bridge the narrative gap between the series' primary conclusion and the spin-off stories, offering fans an animated glimpse into the lives of the characters Alice and Rin after the main events of the manga reached their emotional climax.

The visual direction for the film maintains the characteristic aesthetic of 1990s shojo animation, emphasizing the introspective, ethereal tone that defined the original work. While the series was widely praised for its complex psychological themes and sci-fi elements, this specific production was received primarily as a melancholic epilogue, intended to satisfy the curiosity of dedicated readers who sought a visual resolution to the evolving relationship between the two central protagonists.
