Recorder and Randsell

Recorder and Randsell, or Recorder to Randsell, was produced by Studio Seven and premiered in early 2012 as an adaptation of the four-panel gag manga series by Meme Higashiya. The series is centered on the comedic premise of two siblings with inverted physical appearances: a middle-school-aged younger brother who possesses a tall, adult physique, and a high-school-aged older sister who is exceptionally short and childlike, leading to constant social misunderstandings.

The anime was directed by Masahiro Takeshi, who utilized the short-form format—typically episodes lasting only a few minutes—to focus on rapid-fire slapstick and situational irony.
