Say You to Yo Asobi ANIMATION: Ikuda Momo! Sobii

Say You to Yo Asobi ANIMATION: Ikuda Momo! Sobii is a 2024 original net animation produced by the Japanese studio Plott. The project is an extension of the broader 'Say You to Yo Asobi' media ecosystem, which originally began as a late-night variety program on ABEMA featuring prominent voice actors. The animation serves as a creative, stylized expansion of the brand, leaning into the studio's signature energetic, web-first aesthetic to bridge the gap between talk-radio culture and character-driven comedy.

The character design and visual direction reflect Plott’s focus on fast-paced, accessible digital storytelling. By distilling the personalities of the show's hosts into a short-form animated format, the studio aimed to capture the rapport and improvisational humor that defined the original variety show. Upon its release, the project was received as a lighthearted tribute to the voice acting industry, catering specifically to fans who appreciate the meta-narrative intersection of behind-the-scenes personality work and scripted animation.
