Where it came from
Setsugetsuka is a high-end scale figure released by Broccoli, representing a significant entry in their character figure line. It was designed to capture a serene, traditional aesthetic, drawing heavily from the concept of snow, moon, and flowers—a classic artistic motif in Japanese culture. The figure reflects the studio's focus on meticulous sculpting and intricate costume detailing, aiming to bridge the gap between static display pieces and dynamic character storytelling.
The reception of the piece has been largely positive among collectors who favor the craftsmanship typical of Broccoli’s scale releases. Designers at the studio prioritized a balanced composition, ensuring the floral elements and flowing fabrics complemented the central figure’s pose. It remains a hallmark of the studio’s commitment to refined, character-focused artistry, often cited for its delicate color palette and the technical precision in its mold work.
