Shaonian Ge Xing: Anhe Zhuan Part 2

Shaonian Ge Xing: Anhe Zhuan Part 2 is a continuation of the spin-off series produced by Youku, derived from the popular wuxia franchise Shaonian Ge Xing, also known as The Juvenile Song. This installment functions as an original net animation (ONA) focusing on the Anhe organization, a group of elite assassins central to the series' political intrigue. The narrative expands on the darker, more conspiratorial elements of the source novels, exploring the internal power struggles of the lethal organization that serves as both ally and antagonist to the main characters.

The visual direction continues the studio's commitment to high-fidelity 3D character modeling and fluid combat choreography, which has become a hallmark of Youku's animation arm. By prioritizing a gritty, atmospheric aesthetic, the designers sought to distinguish the Anhe-centric stories from the more whimsical or heroic tones of the primary series. Upon release, this approach was generally well-received by fans of the franchise for its ability to maintain the established art style while deepening the lore of a notoriously shadowy faction.
