Shaonü Qianxian: Renxing Xiaojuchang

Shaonü Qianxian: Renxing Xiaojuchang, known internationally as Girls' Frontline: Healing Chapter, was released as a series of animated shorts beginning in 2019. Produced by Big Firebird Cultural Media, the project was created to expand the narrative world of the popular mobile strategy game Girls' Frontline. The series serves as a comedic, lighthearted companion to the often gritty and somber tone of the source material, allowing fans to see the anthropomorphic firearm characters in domestic and humorous situations.

The character designs were adapted from the original game illustrations, simplifying the complex tactical gear and military aesthetics into a stylized, chibi-influenced art direction. By focusing on slice-of-life vignettes, the studio aimed to cultivate a deeper emotional connection between players and the character roster. The series was well-received by the existing community, serving as a successful exercise in transmedia storytelling that reinforced the franchise's brand identity through accessible, short-form content.
