Sincereality

Sincereality is a concept album released in 2005 by the American R&B singer Case. Following the success of his earlier projects in the late 1990s, this record marked a transition in the artist's career as he navigated the shifting landscape of the contemporary R&B industry. The album was designed to capture a more mature, introspective sound, aiming to balance the polished production values expected of the era with the soulful vocal delivery that had become his hallmark.

The creative direction of the project focused on themes of vulnerability and honesty in romantic relationships, which is reflected in the portmanteau title combining sincerity and reality. While it received a modest reception from critics who noted its adherence to traditional R&B structures, it remains a distinct entry in the artist's discography that represents his attempt to reclaim his creative identity during a period of transition for major label recording artists.
