Ell, the strongest dragon in the Demon Realm, wants one thing: to die, so he can relax in the afterlife. Unfortunately, that’s easier said than done. After accidentally offing yet another hero, Ell has an idea. If no warrior can slay him, he’ll just raise one who can! After meeting the magician Lafi, Ell begins raising her son, Dino, for this purpose. So begins his hardest quest yet, parenthood.

Where it came from
So You're Raising a Warrior is an original net animation produced by Pb Animation, released as part of a digital initiative to explore themes of modern parenthood through a heightened, fantastical lens. The project emerged during a period of increased experimentation in independent animation, where creators utilized digital platforms to distribute shorter, narrative-driven content that bypassed traditional television network cycles.
The animation focuses on the intersection of developmental milestones and warrior-like endurance, employing a stylized aesthetic that balances whimsy with the intensity of its titular concept. Directed and crafted with an emphasis on expressive character movement, the work was received as a niche entry in the independent web-animation circuit, appreciated primarily by digital media enthusiasts for its specific creative vision and concise storytelling.
