The narrative follows Sato, a young man who follows his childhood friend Hime to another world, only to discover he is destined to become the legendary Ring King. The story blends fantasy adventure with romantic comedy tropes, focusing on the protagonist's quest to gather elemental rings through his relationships with various princesses.

The 2024 television anime adaptation was produced by Staple Entertainment and directed by Takashi Naoya. The series was designed to translate Maybe's distinct character art and intricate world-building into an animated format, aiming to capture the series' balance of high-stakes action and harem-romance dynamics.
