Where it came from
To Your Eternity Season 3 continues the adaptation of Yoshitoki Oima's philosophical manga series, moving into the series' long-awaited Modern Era arc. Following the conclusion of the second season produced by Studio Drive, this installment maintains the series' core themes of mortality, human connection, and the evolution of the protagonist, Fushi, as he navigates a vastly different historical setting.
Studio Drive remains at the helm for this production, tasked with capturing Oima's intricate character designs while transitioning the narrative into a contemporary environment. The series design continues to prioritize emotional resonance and the shifting nature of Fushi’s identity, aiming to translate the manga's transition from epic fantasy to urban drama for a television audience.
