Where it came from
The VSPO! × Vanguard Animation PV was produced by the studio Andraft to mark a collaborative intersection between the virtual YouTuber agency VSPO! and the long-running trading card game Cardfight!! Vanguard. This short-form promotional project was designed to merge the high-energy, competitive aesthetic of virtual idol performance with the stylized, dramatic visual language characteristic of the Vanguard franchise, serving as a crossover event that highlighted the individual identities of the featured streamers.
Andraft utilized a clean, polished animation style to bridge the gap between 2D character illustration and the immersive digital presence of the VTuber talent. The piece was well-received within the intersection of these two fanbases for its fluid movement and its successful translation of the agency's character designs into a more cinematic, action-oriented animation format, effectively functioning as a high-quality showcase of the synergistic potential between digital personality brands and established trading card intellectual properties.
