They take the life of the producer and head for the jungle to take a scoop picture of the legendary animal "Kina". If shooting succeeds it will be the world's first achievement! However, difficulties are found one after another in front of you. Raging beasts ... villagers trying to sacrifice God ... rich rich TV stations ... and the biggest enemy "low budget"! Will it succeed in photographing Kina without fail and can win a high viewing rate! What?
Poor television station TV Nanana. Along with low poor viewership ratings, 3 people from staff go to the jungle, with no planning and talent planning to shoot the rare animal Kina.

Where it came from
Wacky TV Nanana debuted in 2018 as a comedic project produced by TV Tokyo. It was created as a self-deprecating satire of the television production industry, focusing on the frantic and often absurd efforts of a low-budget documentary crew attempting to film rare subjects under impossible deadlines and severe financial constraints. The series adopted a distinctively minimalist, paper-cutout aesthetic that emphasized its low-fi charm.
The animation and character designs were crafted to lean into the surrealist humor inherent in the show's premise. By utilizing an intentionally crude visual style, the creators highlighted the contrast between the crew's grandiose documentary ambitions and their meager resources. The series was well-received by audiences who appreciated its dry wit and its candid, humorous commentary on the behind-the-scenes realities of working in Japanese broadcast television.
