Xue Ying Lingzhu 2

Xue Ying Lingzhu 2, known internationally as Snow Eagle Lord, was released as a computer-animated ONA series produced by Mili Pictures. Building upon the success of its predecessor, this installment continues the adaptation of the popular web novel authored by I Eat Tomatoes. The series was designed to showcase the evolution of domestic Chinese 3D animation techniques, aiming to provide a high-fidelity visual experience that bridges the gap between traditional literary storytelling and modern digital media.

The production sought to emphasize kinetic action sequences and intricate character modeling, reflecting a deliberate shift toward more mature, high-budget fantasy aesthetics in the Chinese animation industry. Upon its release, the project received significant attention from audiences familiar with the source material, who lauded the studio for its technical improvements in rendering and choreography, though it faced typical discourse common to adaptations balancing narrative depth with visual spectacle.
