Agile Tit-Tyrant

The Agile Tit-Tyrant, Uromyias agilis, is a small passerine bird endemic to the humid montane forests of the northern Andes, primarily within Colombia and Ecuador. First formally described in the 19th century, it was categorized as part of a group of specialized tyrant flycatchers adapted to high-altitude ecosystems. Its existence is tied to the fragile cloud forest habitats of the Andean slopes, where its elusive nature and reliance on specific micro-climates have made it a subject of interest for ornithologists studying tropical biodiversity.

The physical design of the species is defined by its evolutionary adaptation to dense, high-altitude brush.
