Bicolored Antpitta

The Bicolored Antpitta is a member of the Grallariidae family, a group of birds characterized by their secretive, terrestrial habits within the high-altitude cloud forests of the Andes. First described scientifically in the late 19th century, this species is endemic to a limited range in the central Andes of Colombia, where it occupies dense, humid undergrowth.
