Black-throated Spinetail

The Black-throated Spinetail, scientifically classified as Synallaxis castanea, is a member of the Furnariidae family, a diverse group of passerine birds endemic to the Neotropics. It is historically associated with the montane forests of the Paria Peninsula in northeastern Venezuela, a region of significant biological interest due to its isolation and high levels of endemism.
