Crimson-hooded Manakin

The Crimson-hooded Manakin, scientifically classified as Pipra aureola, is native to the northern regions of South America, particularly within the humid forests of the Amazon basin and the Guianas. As a member of the Pipridae family, the species evolved within the complex ecological niches of the Neotropics, where the males developed their distinctive, vibrant plumage as a biological mechanism for courtship displays.
