Green Pygmy-Goose

The Green Pygmy-goose, scientifically known as Nettapus pulchellus, is a distinct member of the Anatidae family native to northern Australia and parts of New Guinea. Unlike typical geese, this species is a small perching duck that evolved to thrive in tropical wetlands, lagoons, and swamps.
