Plush-crested Jay

The Plush-crested Jay, known scientifically as Cyanocorax chrysops, is a member of the Corvidae family native to the subtropical and tropical forests of South America. Its distinct appearance is defined by the dense, velvet-like plumage atop its crown, which provides the species its common name.
