Qilian Bluetail

The Qilian Bluetail, scientifically classified as Tarsiger albocoeruleus, is a distinct avian species endemic to the high-altitude regions of the Qilian Mountains in Western China. First documented by ornithologists studying the unique biodiversity of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, this bird evolved in alpine coniferous forests and scrublands, where it developed its characteristic morphology to navigate dense undergrowth.
