Riparian Antbird

The Riparian Antbird, scientifically classified as Cercomacroides fuscicauda, is a member of the Thamnophilidae family, endemic to the humid lowland forests of the Amazon basin. Historically, it was long considered a subspecies of the Dusky Antbird until phylogenetic studies and vocalization analysis confirmed its status as a distinct species.
