Rusty-crowned Tit-Spinetail

The Rusty-crowned Tit-Spinetail, Leptasthenura pileata, is a species of bird in the Furnariidae family, native to the high-altitude Andean slopes of Peru. Evolutionarily adapted to life in the harsh, dry scrubland and Polylepis woodlands, its morphology reflects the specialized niche it occupies.
