Silver Pheasant

The Silver Pheasant, known scientifically as Lophura nycthemera, has long been a subject of fascination in East Asian art and ornithology. Native to the mountain forests of mainland Southeast Asia and China, the bird was frequently depicted in traditional Chinese ink wash paintings and imperial embroidery, symbolizing grace and dignity.
