Streak-breasted Treehunter

The Streak-breasted Treehunter is a passerine bird belonging to the Furnariidae family, native to the humid montane forests of Costa Rica and western Panama. First described by the German ornithologist Ferdinand Heine in 1860, this species occupies a specific ecological niche in the mid-to-high elevations of the Talamanca range.
