Streaked Spiderhunter

The Streaked Spiderhunter (Arachnothera magna) is a distinctive member of the Nectariniidae family, native to the forest canopies of the Himalayas and Southeast Asia. Ornithologically categorized during the 19th century, the species evolved its signature narrow wings and pointed, down-curved bill as highly specialized evolutionary adaptations.
