Billy Boyle, published in 2006 by Soho Press, marks the debut of James R. Benn’s long-running historical mystery series. Set during the Second World War, the narrative follows a Boston police detective who is drafted into the Army and assigned to work for his relative, General Dwight D. Eisenhower.
