The orator's education

The Orator's Education, or Institutio Oratoria, was originally composed by the Roman rhetorician Quintilian around 95 CE. It was designed as a comprehensive system for the training of an ideal orator, emphasizing that the speaker must be a good man skilled in speaking, rather than merely a technician of rhetoric.
