Arifureta: Der Kampf Zurück in Meine Welt #15

Arifureta: Der Kampf Zurück in Meine Welt, originally titled Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest, began as a web novel series written by Ryo Shirakome in 2013 before transitioning into a light novel format published by Overlap. This fifteenth volume serves as a significant installment in the overarching narrative, documenting the protagonist Hajime Nagumo's continued efforts to return home following his involuntary transportation to a fantasy world. The series is characterized by its shift from traditional high-fantasy tropes to a darker, survival-focused progression fantasy style.

The character designs and illustrations for the series are provided by Takayaki, whose work has been central to the visual identity of the franchise since its print inception. The aesthetic combines traditional shonen character archetypes with a grittier, industrial-fantasy flair meant to reflect the protagonist's transition from a victimized student to a hardened combatant. The volume was received as a continuation of the high-stakes narrative that has garnered a substantial international following within the isekai genre, solidifying the series' position as a staple in contemporary Japanese light novel culture.
