Aristocratic X-Traterrestrial Time-Traveling Thieves #3

Aristocratic X-Traterrestrial Time-Traveling Thieves was a niche independent comic book series released during the late 1980s, a period marked by a surge in experimental and genre-bending titles. Issue #3 arrived as the series sought to establish its distinct voice by blending high-society Victorian tropes with irreverent science fiction tropes, aiming to capitalize on the era's growing appetite for subversive graphic storytelling.

The series was primarily driven by creator-led visions that prioritized visual flair and unconventional character dynamics over traditional superhero tropes. Issue #3 in particular is recognized by collectors for its idiosyncratic artwork and surrealist narrative pacing, which reflected the creators' intent to challenge standard comic book structural expectations. While the series never achieved mainstream commercial dominance, it retains a dedicated following among enthusiasts of small-press speculative fiction.
