Aristocratic X-Traterrestrial Time-Traveling Thieves #7

Aristocratic X-Traterrestrial Time-Traveling Thieves emerged in the mid-1990s as a satirical contribution to the burgeoning independent comic book scene. Created during a period when genre-bending titles were gaining traction, the series blended Victorian-era tropes with absurd science fiction concepts. Issue 7 reflects the series' signature approach, focusing on the stylized, elaborate aesthetics of its titular characters and the complex, humorous narrative arcs that defined the run.

The visual identity of the series was driven by a commitment to ornate character design, often featuring exaggerated costumes and detailed period settings meant to contrast with the chaotic, futuristic elements of the time-travel plot. While the series maintained a niche following rather than mainstream popularity, it is often cited by collectors as a distinct example of the experimental storytelling and unconventional artistic flair common to the era's independent publications.
