Big Comic Original Zōkan #1570

Big Comic Original Zōkan is a supplemental publication of the long-running seinen manga magazine Big Comic Original, published by Shogakukan. The Zōkan editions serve as a specialized outlet for serialized stories and one-shots, often allowing creators to explore themes that might deviate from the primary magazine's monthly rhythm. Since its inception, the publication has been a cornerstone of the Japanese mature manga market, focusing on sophisticated storytelling, slice-of-life narratives, and social commentary.

The aesthetic of this series is defined by the high editorial standards of Shogakukan, featuring a rotating roster of prominent illustrators and mangaka. The design language prioritizes readability and striking cover art that typically highlights the featured lead character of the issue. These issues were received as essential keepsakes for dedicated readers who collected them to follow the complete arcs of serialized works that often spent years in development before reaching their conclusion.
