Boku e no Esa wa Kanojotachi #1

Boku e no Esa wa Kanojotachi, written and illustrated by the artist known as P-go, was serialized in the seinen manga magazine Manga Time Kirara Forward. The series emerged within a genre space that balances lighthearted romantic comedy tropes with specific, often stylized character dynamics typical of the publication's house style. This first volume introduces the central premise of a protagonist entangled in an unconventional living arrangement, reflecting the era's focus on character-driven situational humor.

The character designs were crafted to align with the aesthetic expectations of contemporary seinen readership, emphasizing expressive facial work and distinct personality archetypes. Upon its release, the volume was received as a straightforward addition to the magazine's catalog, appreciated by fans of the genre for its art style and the chemistry between the primary cast members. It remains a representative example of mid-2010s niche romantic manga.
