Bokusatsu Pink Gaiden: Bye Buy Pink #1

Bokusatsu Pink Gaiden: Bye Buy Pink #1 serves as a spin-off extension of the cult-favorite manga Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan, a series originally created by Masaki Okada. Developed within the late 2000s surge of light novel and manga adaptations, this gaiden, or side-story, was designed to expand the absurdist, slapstick-horror universe of the original series while maintaining its signature irreverent tone and frantic visual style.

The publication follows the established visual language of the franchise, which blends hyper-cutesy aesthetic elements with sudden, violent outbursts. As a spin-off, it was received primarily by the existing fanbase of the series, catering to those already invested in the chaotic dynamic between the titular angel and the high school protagonist. It stands as a niche piece of supplementary media that relies heavily on the reader's prior familiarity with the lore and established character archetypes of the original work.
