Bōkyaku no Nia: Sekai wo Tsukutta Kami Nanoni Watashi Dake Shinwa ni Natteinai #1

Bōkyaku no Nia: Sekai wo Tsukutta Kami Nanoni Watashi Dake Shinwa ni Natteinai #1 serves as the debut volume of a light novel series that explores themes of existential irony and divine displacement. The narrative centers on Nia, a creator deity who, despite having forged the world, finds herself entirely forgotten by the civilizations she brought into existence. This premise, common in modern Japanese fantasy, plays with the trope of the 'hidden powerhouse' while subverting the typical deification of ancient creators.

The series is written by Midori Hiyoshimaru and typically features character designs and illustrations that emphasize a whimsical yet melancholic aesthetic. As a work rooted in the light novel industry, it reflects the ongoing trend of protagonists operating outside the bounds of established societal knowledge. The series has found a niche audience among readers of fantasy who enjoy character-driven explorations of isolation and the complexities of being a deity in a world that has moved on without you.
